About PC Port Games
PC Port Games helps you find community-made PC versions of console games, with project links, current status and installation guides.
What belongs here
We list community projects that run a console game's code as a PC program, including projects still in development. Some rebuild the game's engine, the software that runs the game, and read your original game data. The native PC port guide explains the different approaches.
The original console version must lack an official PC release. If only a remaster or remake is on PC, the original can still qualify; its game page explains the difference.
We do not list emulators, which recreate a console to run its games, or downloads that package an emulator as a PC port. We also leave out projects based on code leaked from a game developer and fan remakes that run without the original game's data.
How we check projects
We read project repositories, where developers publish their code and documentation, along with release pages and installation instructions. We check supported systems, required game versions and release status, and record a verification date. Before marking a project playable, we look for someone outside its development team reporting that it runs.
We do not download, host, provide or test installation packages. The guides describe what the project documents and what players have reported; the verification date tells you when we last checked.
An unofficial directory
PC Port Games is independent of console makers, game publishers and port developers. The ports are unofficial community projects. This site contains no game files; download buttons lead to project repositories or release pages.
